Events :March is Nutrition Month. Each year for more than a decade, Hunger agencies such as ours have participated in a Million Dollar Challenge. $1 Million Dollars from Alan Shawn Feinstein, CEO of the Feinstein Foundation added to funds we raise, to benefit the needy families that we serve.  From March 1 thru April 30, we recieve gifts of cash, checks, food items, and pledges to help us receive from this challenge. National Hunger Awareness Day.National Hunger Awareness Day is an effort to raise awareness of and donations to help end hunger in America. It was created in 2002, at a time when there was a significant increase in the number of Americans unable to feed their families. Hunger relief organizations such as Nazarene Outpost Ministries are forced to cope with this increased demand while working in an environment with less food and fewer charitable dollars available. National Hunger Awareness Day emerged as an important way to increase awareness about hunger in America.National Hunger Awareness Day is observed on the first Tuesday of June each year. 

 World Hunger Day October 16.  Celebrate World Hunger Day by donating money or canned non-perishable food items to our food distribution program. Call us for pickup. We partner with other organizations too! For your donation of $25 we will feed 10 families and send you a complimentary gift which will help you save $1000 at the supermarket, or at restaurants nationwide! TIMES ARE TOUGH AND WE WANT TO HELP THE FAMILIES WHO ARE IN NEED AND MAY NOT QUALIFY FOR FEDERAL AID.
